Children’s Milk Allergy and Gastrointestinal Coalition (MAGIC) is committed to promoting healthcare coverage and reimbursement of amino acid-based elemental formulas for children who are unable to consume a natural, life-sustaining diet due to various allergies or diseases.

Children’s MAGIC, a 501 (c)-4 non profit corporation, is a direct result of an expressed need of families across the United States for common sense answers to their questions regarding either the inconsistent benefit application, or the complete absence, of insurance coverage for amino acid-based elemental formulas. Nutricia North America, responded to that need by issuing seed money to form a national coalition of parents, healthcare providers and advocacy groups. The mission of this coalition is to provide education and awareness to other affected parents, advocacy groups and elected officials on the lack of coverage and reimbursement for amino acid-based elemental formulas. Stemming from our mission, Children s MAGIC has been working to expand insurance coverage and reimbursement for all amino acid-based elemental formulas regardless of delivery method. Children s MAGIC is currently operated by a staff based in Washington, DC.
